It is the citation policy of this wiki that all statements in in-universe articles should be sourced by means of inline citation. Like w:c:tardis, w:c:memoryalpha and other Wikia wikis, we prefer placing the citation within the body of the text, as close to the statement as possible.

Footnotes are allowed and even encouraged in real world articles, but within in-universe articles, inline citation is required.

A word about prefixes

P:PREFIX

Prefixes are used to preface a story name so as to precisely define the source. In the example "Justine was a member of Faction Paradox. (PROSE: Alien Bodies)" the prefix is PROSE. It is the policy of this wiki that prefixes should be used, as in the example before, to denote the story type of the cited source. Used prefixes include

Disambiguation

Remember that many of the Faction Paradox novels have in-universe equivalents, like Erasing Sherlock. Remember the disambiguation suffix and cite Erasing Sherlock (novel) instead.

When citing from The Book of the War, it's encouraged to cite the specific entry from which the information comes. For instance,
