Karachi was a coastal city of the lower Indus valley in the Scindh, a part of Pakistan. The British established a military encampment there in 1844. In 1845 some British soldiers performed a tantric ritual which unintentionally summoned a Mal'akh. (PROSE: The Book of the War)
