Faction Precursors were groups and conditions that led to the formation of Faction Paradox.
The roots of the Faction could be traced back to the Homeworld's past before the anchoring of the thread. That primal nature would sometimes erupt, as was seen in the massacre at House Catherion. Some considered the Eremites an ancestor of the Faction, but the former had a spiritual connection lacking in the latter.
A saying existed which said that history repeated itself as tragedy, then comedy and then farce. Some used that to claim that the Eremites were the tragedy and the Faction the comedy, with the Remote as the possible farce. (PROSE: Faction Precursors)
