Camp Gulliver was a 21st century prison in Norfolk, England. It purported to be a government facility for imprisoning subversive writers, created between 2004 and 2008 to house Jim Sheldrake specifically. But since Sheldrake was a member of Faction Paradox, prison personnel used pointing bones, and technologies like earworms and mnemonics were a concern, it was obvious that the facility was actually run by the Great Houses. Camp Gulliver was unsuccessful in keeping Sheldrake from publishing: he got a short story out in 2008, and in 2012 created an unlimited information channel through Story.
